Our Program
Glen Park Montessori: a premier preschool offering the Montessori Curriculum of early math concepts, reading skills, biology, botany anthropology, practical life skills, grace, courtesy and peace. A comprehensive art program covers a broad range of media and frequently encourages expression that overlaps our academic curriculum.
Home of the Children’s Ecology Project, we invite children to become acquainted with our natural world through activities and field trips designed to foster a love of and appreciation for nature, an understanding of the interconnectedness of all life, thereby planting the seeds of sustainability.
Our physical location includes 2 floors of open, light and spacious work and play areas, plants and animals to care for and study, and access to our garden play yard. We are located one block from BART and within walking distance from Glen Park Canyon. We additionally take frequent walks to “the Meadow” , a mini city park just a block from the school where the children can enjoy a romp in a lovely grassed area surrounded by trees.
